The official salary in Moldova is also significantly higher than in Ukraine, Kompaniets notes.
Average official salary in the second quarter of 2018:
Moldova – 375.82 dollars (6369.8 lei)
Ukraine – 325.53 dollars (8529 UAH)
At the same time, Ukraine also ranks last in Europe in terms of the official average salary.
