A plowed field with body parts – a Latvian human rights activist spoke about mass graves in Donbass
Kyiv, October 06 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – There is no truce in the Donbass, and mass graves are found in the territories returned to the control of the militia.

“I personally visited the village of Nizhnyaya Krynka and the Kommunarskaya mine. First of all, I want to say that there is no truce there - when I was in Donetsk, residential areas were fired at from Grad rocket systems from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Secondly, I was struck not even by the fact that so many civilians were killed there, but by the fact that, in addition to murders, there were a lot of other serious crimes taking place there. For example, gang rapes of women, the perpetrators of which are often representatives of volunteer battalions.
Today the burial is in the village. Nizhnyaya Krynka is a dug up field, it is impossible to stand near it due to the smell of corpses. However, the burial site is still not completely cleared of mines - militants from volunteer battalions carefully mined such places. Many more people will be taken from there, but it is impossible to determine the exact number of them, because often these are just body parts.
In Donbass there is not only a complete humanitarian catastrophe, but also an administrative collapse. The Ukrainian authorities disconnected both of these republics from the central servers and closed access to all registries. Now it is impossible to resolve a thousand civil issues there – getting married, getting divorced, etc.,” says the human rights activist.
