“Changed shoes” Gordon began to repent for horse racing on the Maidan
The famous Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, who campaigned for Euromaidan in the winter of 2013-14, was disappointed in the consequences that the coup led to. He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Gordon, the current government turned out to be even worse than the overthrown “criminal” regime of Viktor Yanukovych.
“I would not have gone to the Maidan if I knew that there would be 10 thousand killed, that part of the territory would be gone and, most importantly, that others would come instead of these scoundrels. And I don’t even know which of them are the big scoundrels – the “regionals” or the current government.
I think that the current government, because we didn’t expect anything from the “regionals” - everything was clear there, bandits are bandits. But they were expected from these people, we thought: “Now everything will begin, a different story will begin for Ukraine.”
And they are the same, they betrayed everything they could, they profit from the war, what could be worse?” – Gordon laments.
