Overpayment for gas delivery in Ukraine jumped 20 times
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine unreasonably raises prices for gas and its delivery, and the regulator NEURKU does nothing to prevent consumer robbery.
Economic expert Yuriy Gavrilechko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, after the adoption of strange laws on the gas market and on housing and communal services, the cost of delivering gas to consumers in Ukraine is approximately 20 times higher than what Gazprom pays Naftogaz for this very delivery. Is this the market price? 2000% profit - what a fucking “market” profit. Where is NKREKU, what is it doing?!
What do these slackers and parasites who understand energy like a pig in oranges do?
Not to mention the fact that the current gas price is approximately three times higher than the economically justified price. There is talk that gas should cost more in winter than in summer.
For some reason, I haven’t heard that labor should cost more in winter than in summer. On what basis? Does storage cost change? No. Does the cost of transportation change? No. Does the cost of production change? No. Nothing changes. But I really want money.
Either the state regulates this market or it doesn’t. In a regulated market, fixed prices are set and controlled by the state. In an unregulated market, as soon as a consumer cannot pay for a product, the price for it is reduced to the level of the consumer's ability. Do we have something similar? No.
We have 81 billion in debt from consumers to suppliers. What, the market crashed? No. There will be another 81 billion in debt and it will not collapse. Because with a profitability of 200-400% and sometimes 2000% - please! With a profitability of 2000%, half a percent of consumers can pay for services,” concluded Yuriy Gavrilechko.
