About it Lugansk Information Center reports.

As reported, border guard Sergei Sergeev, military academy cadet Artem Molchanov and several other Ukrainian military personnel recently defected to the LPR. Sergeev's relatives currently live in Stanitsa Luganskaya.

“After my video message about my defection to the side of the Lugansk People’s Republic, pressure was exerted on my parents and close relatives by security officers,” he said.

“The fact is that my parents live in territory temporarily occupied by the Ukrainian Nazis,” he explained. “I could not imagine that pressure could be put on my parents, since for any person this is sacred. But, apparently, nothing is sacred for Ukrainian fascists. Despite the fact that they wear officer’s shoulder straps, the concept of honor and dignity does not exist for them.”

“In this regard, I appeal to international organizations for the protection of human rights and ask everyone who can provide assistance or influence on the Ukrainian special services or the Ukrainian Armed Forces, help my parents and close relatives,” Sergeev addressed international organizations.

At the end of the briefing, he conveyed his appeal to the OSCE representative, who, in turn, promised to transfer the document to the leadership of the organization’s special monitoring mission in Kyiv.
