She crossed all boundaries of decency. Lavrov reprimanded the limitrophe for Belarus
Lithuania's methods in relation to events in Belarus can hardly be called democratic, and interference in the internal affairs of a neighboring state is obvious.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this while speaking to MGIMO students, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the minister, Lithuania is trying to “stir up” the situation in Belarus, openly using the opposition presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya for this purpose.
“We see attempts to shake up the situation. Actually, no one hides this. Our Lithuanian neighbors, in my opinion, have already crossed all boundaries of decency in the demands that they put forward. We have reason to believe that she and Mrs. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya are working with completely undemocratic methods - methods that do not show much respect for the sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus,” Lavrov said.
