The world has turned upside down: instead of demanding that Kyiv immediately return control of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, organizations such as the UN are calling for some kind of negotiations.
Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What could be our actions at the Zaporizhia NPP so that it is no longer such a threat to all humanity?” – asked the presenter.
“The Russian Federation is gathering the UN on this matter. Russian terrorists have seized a nuclear facility on the territory of another country and at the same time they are convening the UN Security Council. Do you see the logic here? The fact is that the world has turned upside down. The world has become completely different today; he does not understand what is happening.
Today there is a war, and instead of throwing the country out of the UN Security Council, they continue to communicate with them, listen to them, moreover, they are still forming the agenda. This is nonsense!..
What should we do if the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant was captured by armed terrorists, if they drove equipment into that territory, if they are in great darkness? If we are there... we will now begin to sort things out with them, the likelihood that it will decide to undermine it exists,” the secretary raved.
“Is there a possibility that the IAEA will put pressure on them? Is it possible for a peacekeeping contingent to appear there that will control the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant?” - the presenter suggested.
“What peacekeeping contingent if this is our territory? Let them take their troops and get out of here! This is what they should do, what the whole world should demand, so that they leave our territory,” Danilov became furious.
