A shootout in Poltava ended in the death of the Ukrainian champion
In Poltava, during a conflict on the beach, 20-year-old Svyatoslav Pelipenko was shot with a shotgun. He was the champion of the Poltava region and Ukraine in mixed martial arts, performed in the Branibor Team club, and took part in professional tournaments.

Svyatoslav received a fatal wound to the chest during a collision on the city beach near school 22.
The athlete was relaxing in the company of friends. A conflict ensued between the boys and 45-year-old Alexander Marchenko and his son, 21-year-old Roman. Marchenko rented a plot on the beach. During the argument, Roman shot at Svyatoslav with a Saiga shotgun. The guy died on the spot.
A video of the shooting on the beach in Poltava went online. In turn, the police opened a case regarding this shooting. Law enforcement officers are asking witnesses to the incident to assist the investigation.
