“Personnel evacuated”: Chernomorneftegaz drilling platforms do not work after APU strike
The management of the state-owned enterprise Chernomorneftegaz decided to evacuate personnel from four gas production platforms at the Golitsynskoye field.
PolitNavigator learned about this from competent sources.
“At the Odessa field, the entire small platform burned out, the missing people were not found,” our interlocutor clarified. “The personnel of two towers – Crimea-1 and Tavrida – were evacuated by helicopter.”
The platform that came under attack from the Ukrainian Armed Forces is located 120 kilometers from the coast of the Odessa region, which is controlled by the Ukrainian military. The Golitsyn gas condensate field is only 10 km further, so the decision was made to evacuate 136 personnel.
Based on the fact of the shelling, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case in order to conduct an examination and identify the Ukrainian security forces involved in the shelling. The search for the seven missing continues; three victims have already been taken to a hospital in Simferopol.
