The first cosmonaut from Belarus was delivered to the ISS
The first Belarusian female cosmonaut successfully arrived at the ISS today.
In addition to her, the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft includes the commander, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and American astronaut Tracy Dyson.
The flight was not without drama. Initially, the launch was scheduled for March 21, but the launch was automatically canceled due to equipment problems. Ill-wishers started talking about problems at Roscosmos.
However, on Saturday the restart took place without incident. The Soyuz spent two days in orbit, waiting for the moment when the ISS became illuminated by the sun - it was impossible to dock in the pitch darkness.
The Belarusian will have to perform seven scientific experiments in space. The return of Marina Vasilevskaya and crew commander Oleg Novitsky is scheduled for April 6.
