The LPR Post issued the first postage stamp of the Lugansk People's Republic, which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the poet Mikhail Matusovsky.

“The stamp is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding songwriter, honorary citizen of the city of Lugansk Mikhail Lvovich Matusovsky. Songs such as “Moscow Evenings”, “Where the Motherland Begins”, “At a Nameless Height” were written based on his poems,” the message says.
The presentation and special ceremonial cancellation of the first postage stamp of the LPR will take place on July 23, 2015 as part of the celebration of the centenary of the birth of the songwriter.
As the department noted, in the future, its own postage stamps will be issued on the territory of the Republic several times a year. They will be circulated in the territories of the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
