First-year students in Kyiv began to be herded to military registration and enlistment offices
Although Kyiv was not included in the number of regions where martial law was introduced, announcements appeared in the capital's universities with requirements for freshmen to immediately register for military registration.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Pavlenko reported this on channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They said that there would be no mobilization, but for some reason yesterday in universities, specifically Kiev Shevchenko University, they posted an advertisement demanding that freshmen immediately come and register for military service from 10 to 16:30.
My son is a freshman, he went to submit his documents today. But this is a restriction of the right to education, when children are taken from universities, limiting the right to education, forcing them to serve in the army, or high school students are taken to dig trenches in case of danger,” said Yuriy Pavlenko.
