“357 calls have already been received, 30 of them from the territory of Ukraine. All phone calls are answered with comprehensive information - how and in what amount you can receive a payment, what documents are needed,” she said, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Tolstykina, the first relatives of veterans from Ukrainian-controlled territory have already arrived in the DPR and received help.
“On March 23, the first payments were made in the village of Yelenovka and today, March 24, in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. These payments were received by relatives of WWII veterans, in hryvnia equivalent, at their request,” she said.
The minister recalled that assistance to the LDPR is intended for veterans “who took direct part in hostilities in 1941-1945.”
“Let me remind you that to receive this payment you need to contact 4 points of the Donbass Post post office. All addresses are published on the website of the humanitarian aid program. To provide this assistance, 4 documents are required: a standard application, an original passport, an original certificate of a participant in the Second World War, a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office or a military ID, which contains a clause on participation in hostilities,” the minister recalled.
