Ex-Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Zguladze will become Avakov's first deputy
Kyiv, December 12 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov signed a petition to President Petro Poroshenko to grant Ukrainian citizenship to Georgian Ekaterina Zguladze.

“Eka wrote an application asking for Ukrainian citizenship and relinquishment of Georgian citizenship,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
According to the minister, the president welcomed his petition. “On Monday, upon the release of the relevant Presidential Decree on granting citizenship, I will do the final formality - I will sign a submission to the Cabinet of Ministers on the appointment of Ekaterina Zguladze as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. I'm very happy about this. There will be more competence, will to reform and smiles in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Welcome!" – summed up the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Let us remind you that Ekaterina Zguladze studied in the USA, then worked as a translator. In Georgia, he headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dealing with the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, the creation of patrol police, which replaced the traffic police, and also served as a “link” for communication between the security forces and the public.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine already has three foreign ministers: the Ministry of Health was headed by Alexander Kvitashvili, Aivaras Abromavicius was headed by the Ministry of Economic Development, and Natalia Yaresko became the Minister of Finance.
