Peterhof is proposed to be built up with high-rise buildings
The former editor-in-chief of the Russian version of National Geographic Traveler, Alexander Zheleznyak, published a development plan for the Foros Park, demonstrating, in his opinion, that irreparable damage would be caused to the XNUMXth century monument, despite assurances from an investor from Tatarstan to the contrary.
“Today’s construction site is just the beginning. Instead of buildings integrated into the landscape, there will be anything, but definitely not a park. In the account of the future children's camp, they explain why construction in the park is good. I just don’t understand why they won’t immediately start building the same thing in Peterhof, also a monument to park art,” comments Zheleznyak.
Earlier, the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov stated that 3 hectares of the Foros Park will be closed with a fence to visitors after the construction of the Ak-Bars children's camp here is completed.
