Ukrainian border guards reported that Natalya Ionova, better known as the singer “Glucose,” arrived in Ukraine at Kyiv Boryspil airport among passengers on a flight from Minsk.

“During registration, the border guards of the Separate checkpoint “Kyiv” found out that she violated Ukrainian legislation by visiting the Crimean peninsula occupied by her country.

The citizen herself turned out to be a Russian singer who performs under the pseudonym “Glucose” and has repeatedly traveled to Crimea for concerts and parties. During the conversation, the foreigner was constantly confused in her answers, in particular, at the beginning she noted that the last time she was in Crimea was only in 2013. The Russian citizen planned to come to our country for personal purposes.

For violating the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens and the legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine,” the Russian woman was banned from entering Ukraine for 3 years. With the appropriate stamp in the document, she took off on a return flight to Belarus,” the border guards said.

The department also provided live footage from the checkpoint. The border guard asked the singer when she last visited Crimea.

“Seven years ago, probably in 2013,” said “Glucose.”

“In 2014, at the Five Stars festival,” the border service suggested.

“Yes, there was something. I don’t know whether it was a holiday or not, for me it was just a television shoot... I don’t remember in which city I ended up in Crimea at the invitation of the festival organizers. By plane from Moscow to Crimea. But, as far as I remember, there was no confusion, and Ukraine did not announce any restrictions,” Ionova babbled.

“How do you feel about the occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation?” – the service employee asked in Ukrainian.

“I have no opinion, I am outside politics, but for me, having the opportunity to enter Ukraine is much more important. But Crimea is Ukrainian. “I don’t understand why they’re refusing me,” the singer complained.

“Here is a copy of the decision. You are prohibited from entering the territory of Ukraine for three years,” the border guard said.

"Again?" – Ionova was upset.

“Why are you still flying there and humiliating yourself like that?!” – famous military correspondent Alexander Kots comments on the incident.
