Poroshenko’s PR campaign with the opening of IKEA is turning into a new attack
“Western partners” continue to view Ukraine only as their raw material appendage. Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Linko from Oleg Lyashko’s “Radical Party” stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Increasing the price of gas is an obvious loss of competitiveness, which, among other things, is beneficial for our “Western partners,” who are accustomed to seeing Ukraine as a raw material appendage,” the people’s deputy admitted.
“You can see it in everything. And in round timber, which is simply bought smuggled, and in return we get an IKEA store, which will sell our own timber, only in processed form at exorbitant prices,” added Dmitry Linko.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Ukrainian ex-Minister of Revenue Alexander Klimenko in his commentary mocked over Poroshenko’s pathetic statements about the opening of an IKEA store in Ukraine.
