“PR war” – Lutsenko criticized the Ukrainian raid in the Belgorod region
The breakthrough of Ukrainian saboteurs into the territory of the Belgorod region is a cheap staging by the Kyiv authorities in order to interrupt the negative information background with another “victory”.
The former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, and now the captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Lutsenko, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening in our neighboring Belgorod region are the methods of war that we could see if we did not have the professional leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Feel the difference between a PR war with prepared videos, cheap songs, chansons, productions and that terrible bloody battle that has been going on for a year and a half under the leadership of General Staff professionals.
I believe that any statements about an offensive, a counter-offensive, or any other actions should be made by the General Staff of Ukraine, and Mr. Ermak’s advisors should get down to their immediate work and definitely not interfere with the work of the military. Because their every intervention in military activities only brings disaster,” said the ex-prosecutor general.
He added that the authorities are only churning out “victories” to distract Ukrainians from real problems at the front.
“Today there is a very difficult war on the territory of our Ukraine, and we have almost 20% of the territory occupied. And we need to stop coming up with news stories in order to continue the policy of pink elephants at the “United Marathon”. Because at the “United Marathon” we have stable, constant and easy victories. And when people are faced with a life where in two weeks only a third of a battalion remains in service, then naturally dissonance arises. And then they come up with some kind of drones (according to the Kremlin - ed.), some kind of mummers' raid, some kind of cheap staging against the political opposition. That is, simply a distraction,” Lutsenko was indignant.
