PR people framed Pushilin, Zakharchenko’s team said
The PR people of the new head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, set up their boss, recommending that on the eve of the elections he should promise a peaceful life and declare that Ukraine does not have the opportunity to attack the Donbass republics.
This opinion was expressed by Alexander Kazakov, adviser to the deceased DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko, commenting on a message from a representative of the DPR operational command Eduard Basurin on the preparation of Ukrainian troops for an offensive.
“Uh, stop! What are you talking about? Didn’t you hear during the election campaign that “Ukraine is not capable of attacking”? And that's why we build a peaceful life? But I wrote to the “technologists” that it is impossible to promote such messages that can be easily and REGARDLESS of their desire to be refuted by a third party,” comments Kazakov.
Let us recall that shortly before the elections, in September, Pushilin commented on the possibility of an offensive by the Ukrainian army as follows: “As for security, I can assure you that the forces that we have in the DPR are capable of protecting us. I don’t see, I don’t feel a threat either politically or forcefully. The weapons that Ukraine has are not ready to be used.”
