Trump's PR people will work for Tymoshenko - media
In preparation for the presidential elections, Yulia Tymoshenko hired American lobbyists who worked for Donald Trump’s campaign, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The American publication The Hill writes about this with reference to documents released by the company, Voice of America reports.
In particular, Avenue Strategies, headed by Berry Bennett, filed documents with the Ministry of Justice stating that the cost of lobbying services for Tymoshenko is $65 thousand per month.
At the same time, Tymoshenko, through the mediation of the Delaware company Two Path, will pay $130 thousand in advance for services for every two months, respectively.
The contract was signed for the period from February to August 2018, and the possibility of its extension is also provided.
Lobbying services include, among other things, “research, government relations, PR, strategic consulting.” Lobbyists should also help Tymoshenko establish connections with congressmen, members of the government, and also respond to inquiries and requests from the US government.
The head of the lobbying company Berry Bennett, who worked as a senior adviser to the Donald Trump campaign, told American journalists that he would work “only personally with Yulia Tymoshenko to organize several of her visits” to the United States.
The lobbying firm Avenue Strategies was founded by Berry Bennett and Corey Lewandowski, both of whom served as advisers to Donald Trump's campaign. Lewandowski left the firm last year.
