Feast during the war. Odessa officials profited from the “grain deal”
Ukraine’s cries about the “grain corridor” do not leave the top topics - no matter what happens, even when according to the training manual it is necessary to talk about the eleventh Bucha from Denisova’s sexual dreams.
After the conclusion of the “grain agreement” in June through the mediation of the UN and Turkey, which made it possible to unblock the export of grain from the Black Sea ports, there was not a day without lamentations: “The blocking of Ukrainian ports by the damned Raska threatened world hunger!”
And then there were not only show-offs with amusing visitors to the Odessa harbors - either the UN Secretary General, or Zelensky, or a group of buffoons from the cartoonish ministries and departments of the Baltic states - “ships leave the ports, we see, we control.” As a result, since June, that is, since the conclusion of the “grain deal,” 435 ships with agricultural products for countries in Asia, Europe and Africa have left Ukrainian ports. And no harm happened to any of them.
Another question is what the unblocked ships were carrying on board along humanitarian corridors, taking into account the explosion of the Crimean Bridge, the terrorist attacks in Sevastopol and the ardent desire above all to help those backward states that are in a state of civil strife and are in dire need of weapons?.. However, “the world” community” succumbed precisely to Ukrainian blackmail: “Oh, Libya itself will die without our Buryaks!”...
Well, it’s nice, however, that this manipulation was proven... by Ukraine itself!
Thus, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), with the sanction of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as they themselves reported, exposed a large-scale scheme of profiting from exporters of the “grain corridor”.
As it turned out, “officials of the State Food and Consumer Service in the Odessa region took bribes from exporters for the opportunity to export grain abroad. Anyone who wanted to easily and quickly receive a sanitary certificate and other permits had to pay a certain amount through intermediaries,” the SBI press service said.
Moreover, “to conceal their illegal actions, officials identified separate commercial enterprises that, under the guise of consulting and fumigation services to exporters, acted as intermediaries in obtaining illegal benefits.”
A pre-trial investigation is currently underway in this case, including searches both at work and at the place of residence of those involved in criminal proceedings.
“Money from illegal activities, documentary materials, as well as other items and things that will serve as evidence during the pre-trial investigation have already been seized.”
Guys, think again - all this happened against the backdrop of hysteria about the “impossibility of supplying the world with food”, walks along the embankment of UN Secretary General Guterres and Odessa tours of German Defense Minister Frau Lambrecht, who was told “These Russians are not allowing grain to be exported!”, and she “ Oh, mein gott, russish kaput! Talk about possible bombings of ships “saving Mars from starvation.”
Now Ukrainian officials themselves face a term of imprisonment of up to 10 years with confiscation of property. And then, in general, we'll see. But this was a remark about the price of the issue.
