A Maidan writer complained about the dominance of the Russian language
Russian speech, which is still heard in the East of Ukraine, allegedly grossly violates the rights of Ukrainians.
Ukrainian writer Sergei Zhadan, who actively supported the Maidan and the Banderization of the country, stated this on Channel 5, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When we talk about those politicians who traditionally and quite successfully speculate on the issue of the Russian language and on the issues of protection and persecution of the Russian language, it is obvious to me, as for a person who has lived all his life in the East, the manipulation of such statements is clear and obvious. When today they talk about persecution specifically in the Russian language
I actually see how changes are happening and these changes make me happy - I see how the Ukrainian language is increasingly conquering space. But I understand that my rights as a citizen of Ukraine in the East of Ukraine continue to be massively violated, because the majority of the press is in Russian, a lot of it is in the Russian language service sector. And in principle, these statements about persecution of the Russian language are speculation,” Zhadan complained.
