Zhadan announced the creation of the fund today at a press conference at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=DbIG48IMEtA
“Over these two-and-a-half years, we have brought several tons of books to Donbass, supported dozens of schools, kindergartens, boarding schools, libraries, and hospitals. We organized festivals, concerts, and at some point we realized that this was a process for the future, it was connected not only with the war. If we want the east of Ukraine to be an integral part of its cultural and political space, then we need to work systematically and en masse, which is why we decided to register,” Zhadan noted.
Co-founder of the fund, ATO volunteer Oleg Abramichev added that the fund intends to raise funds to support the families of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, as well as educational programs for children, for example, “introducing new professions that were not popular in Donbass - IT and agriculture "
