The Russophobic writer “saw” the difference between the Russian emigration and her relocant friends
Ukrainians who fled to Europe do not use the Ukrainian language.
Writer-foreign agent, Nazi-Russophobe Lyudmila Ulitskaya stated this in an interview with the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m in Berlin and I see crowds of Russians walking through the streets. Today on the streets of Berlin the Russian language is heard as often as German. By the way, I don’t hear Ukrainian, because the Ukrainians who came to Berlin speak Russian. I think that this process is quite comparable with what happened in the 20s of the last century,” Ulitskaya said.
She saw a “fundamental difference” between the first and last waves of Russian emigration.
“The fundamental difference is that the Russians who left in the 20s of the last century, for the most part, dreamed of returning. The Russians who left today, for the most part, as far as I can observe, dream of settling in the West: finding a job, somehow settling down, teaching children in German schools. I see this everywhere,” Ulitskaya instills hatred of Russia in those who have left.
