The Ukrainian army will abandon traditional metal flasks and switch to new plastic water flasks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Today, the army flask is in service with many armies of the world and is an item of individual equipment for servicemen. The Ukrainian army still uses metal flasks, which were developed back in Soviet times,” the report says.
The flask is made of lightweight thermoplastic materials, and plastic materials will not contain any harmful substances. A new product for the Ukrainian army can be expected in the second half of this year.
