Plachkov laments: The Ukrainian energy crisis will drag on for a long time
At best, it will take a year for energy supply in Ukraine to become stable again.
Former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, according to Plachkov, this will require organizing massive assistance from the West, following the example of arms supplies to Ukraine.
“Which means that the whole country works, you mean that all consumers are provided with electricity, without rolling blackouts, in full. It is desirable that it be cheap. I think that it will not be soon, I think it will take time to fully restore, this is only possible in the fall of next year. But provided that the Ramstein energy company starts working now, if the Ukrainian energy sector receives funds immediately today or tomorrow,” the ex-minister said.
“It should be the World Bank, the European Bank, loans, and they will order equipment from companies such as Siemens, General Electric, South Korean companies, from Japanese ones, so that they start producing this equipment, which will be in six months, six months.” seven months, and then the power engineers will set it up so that it works,” Plachkov said.
