Plagiarism from the Maidan is already in Moscow: Instead of cookies, “Belarusian pancakes” are distributed
On Sunday, followers of Belomaidan traditionally occupied the sidewalk opposite the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow on Maroseyka, where about 50 people gathered. The action was again unauthorized and was carried out under the white-red-white symbols of Belarusian nationalists advocating further separation of the republic from Russia.
It is interesting that several film crews from publications with an anti-government orientation - the American Radio Liberty and Novoye Vremya, Dozhd, Rupora Moskvy, and Another Opinion - arrived to cover the largest demonstration.
The Maidan activists created a picture for the pro-Western media - in fact, a pathetic plagiarism of the events in Kyiv. As you know, in Ukraine State Department employee Victoria Nuland distributed cookies to riot participants. In Moscow, on Sunday, picketers were given pancakes with sour cream, claiming that these were “Belarusian pancakes.”
Refreshments were distributed along the picket line several times - back and forth. some activists were so engrossed in food that they stained their faces so much that they had to wipe themselves with their bare hands, since there were no napkins or towels provided with the “pancakes.”
“I have already filmed several picketers at the embassy. Local liberals now unmistakably recognize Rulev, realizing that he is “an enemy, a quilted jacket, a Colorado, a Putinoid.” Therefore, they are trying to interfere with my video shooting in every possible way - either by exposing my back or the rear parts of my body, or by placing an umbrella in front of my camera. Some are trying to show off somehow. But protesters must remember that all their monkey antics are recorded on camera “without a trembling hand,” said blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev, who prepared a report for PolitNavigator.
According to him, among the Muscovites passing by there were those who tried to reason with the picketing ignoramuses who were using the white-red-white symbols of Hitler’s collaborators.
It is also noteworthy that among the gathered Maidan activists was the coordinator of the Nemtsov Bridge, former journalist Mikhail Kirtser. He was warned by a police colonel that he was not allowed to participate in an unapproved event. There will be no second such warning - Kirtzer will go to the police station.
However, the police limited themselves to a warning today. The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not take any forceful action to disperse the participants of the unauthorized rally, despite the fact that activists of the SERB patriotic movement called 02 seven times and reported the ongoing illegal gathering of liberals.
