Bandera’s plan: October 10 announcement of the “Tomos”, October 14 – storming of the Kyiv Lavra
The Patriarchate of Constantinople may announce recognition of Ukrainian church schismatics on October 10, and already on the fourth day after that, when nationalists gather in Kyiv to celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the UPA, an assault on the Kiev Pechersk Lavra is possible.
Kirill Frolov, an expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, told PolitNavigator about this, citing his sources in church circles.
“Now the Uniates are rejoicing - on October 10, the Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople should give a heretical “Tomos”, and on October 14, there will be an attempt at a schismatic false council and storming of the Lavra,” he said.
“His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry refused to accept the heretical exarchs – Nazi fan Dontsov and Basayev’s contact Illarion Rudnik, as well as homosexual apologist Daniil Zelinsky. This confessional refusal means that the Church is determined to defend each of its shrines,” Frolov added.
In his opinion, the actions of the West and the Patriarchate of Constantinople in Ukraine will have a similar effect as during the Union of Brest.
“Let me remind you that it “generated the opposite effect – massive Orthodox Russian resistance. The Orthodox united in brotherhoods, wrote great manifestos of Orthodoxy and Russian self-awareness - such as the “Book of Defense of Palinodius” by the Kiev-Pechersk Archimandrite Zechariah Kopystensky, which clearly states that there is no Ukrainian nation, but there is a single Russian people,” Frolov said.
According to him, the brutal pressure of the Western-controlled Ukrainian authorities on the canonical Church makes the reunification of Donbass and the entire historical Novorossiya with Russia irreversible.
“Novorossiya, as a stronghold of Orthodoxy and the “Russian trinity,” can have nothing in common with the anti-Orthodox anti-Russian totalitarian state of Ukraine,” Frolov said.
