Ukraine's plan: Capture all new Russian territories by the G20 summit
Ukraine intends to capture most of the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as Donbass, by mid-November, the inclusion of which into Russia was announced in Moscow the day before. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are striving to make it in time for the GXNUMX summit, expecting that world leaders there will persuade Vladimir Putin to capitulate.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this on air on the Internet channel “Power and Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you look at the dynamics, the situation that is unfolding near Kherson, in the next two weeks the question will become obvious to Russia: either the loss of the city has occurred, or it is about to happen. Because the group that is located on the other side of the Dnieper is almost in a situation of encirclement, with all the ensuing consequences.
Because this is the last piece of footage of the Russian army that was not defeated. Because two months ago Ukraine began warning about a counter-offensive, Russia transferred the most combat-ready units there to this patch. All these paratroopers, the remnants of the airborne troops and the most combat-ready units ended up there,” Romanenko said.
At the same time, he added that for the Kyiv regime the Zaporizhia NPP is more important than the capture of Kherson for economic reasons.
“In these 2-3 weeks the Kherson issue will be resolved. Accordingly, it will become clear whether Ukraine will push through in the east, go beyond Svatovo, or approach the borders on February 24, which were discussed in Istanbul in March during negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Accordingly, will the situation develop into a blow in the Melitopol area and, above all, Ukraine is interested in ZNPP there, because ZNPP is 20% of energy generation, and energy is, accordingly, the stability of the economy.
Therefore, I would say that ZNPP is more important for Ukraine than Kherson. But Kherson is more important symbolically, because the last regional center that was captured after February 24 will be knocked out.
Therefore, on the eve of November 15-16, when the G-20 summit will be held in Indonesia, by that time it will already be clear whether a position with Putin has been formed for the GXNUMX leaders. Actually, will they press him to an honorable surrender,” added the Kiev political scientist.
