“We are very grateful to our comrades and colleagues from Lithuania for this knowledge and skills. All instructors are very experienced - they have at least 10 years of experience. Abroad, during a number of operations, they acquired many skills, and now they are passing them on to us,” he noted.
The training course will last until May.
“To be honest, our plans are very ambitious. The work is just beginning. Now we have only created the foundation of the educational institution. In the future, we have a work plan until 2020. In addition, in our opinion, after the adoption of the law “On Military Police,” we should have a systematic training of investigative units, when the investigative function for the military law enforcement service is introduced,” noted Oleg Kernitsky, head of the training center. – The duration of the course is three months. All training is conducted by both our instructors and Western ones - from Canada, Lithuania, Great Britain, Poland and Denmark.”
Deputy commander of the training group Jeff Day confirmed this information: “More than 50 Canadian military personnel arrived last week; they will help train another Ukrainian unit. An infantry platoon arrived with them and will conduct demonstration training.”
