Pay Ukraine and repent! – a famous Moscow liberal announces street protests
“Pay Ukraine and repent!” – this is how one can evaluate the statements of Moscow liberal deputy Dmitry Gudkov about Ukraine, Crimea and Donbass, which he made in an interview with blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev.
Gudkov chose to remain silent that Ukraine refuses to comply with the Minsk agreements, wanting to change them in order to evade the start of the federalization process. Instead, the deputy said that Vladimir Putin himself deliberately continues the conflict in Donbass.
“In order to talk here later about the “Failed state” of Ukraine, “do you want it like in Ukraine”? “That’s why it’s very important for Putin to ensure that the situation freezes for a long time,” Gudkov announced.
He said that for Russia to reconcile with Ukraine, “the first thing is to admit that there was annexation of Crimea, a violation of the international plan,” and then, with the participation of the West, draw up some kind of “road map” for settlement.
Gudkov also predicts that Moscow will face massive street protests in 2021 after the State Duma elections.
“Maybe there will be some kind of revolution in Russia. Here, Moscow even took to the streets during the elections to the Moscow City Duma, and even more so, if there are falsifications in the State Duma, mass candidates are not allowed in, then, of course, Moscow will come out,” the liberal announced.
It is interesting that Youtube users sharply comment on the video of Gudkov’s statement: “The one who will open the gates of the foreign army.”
Thank you!
