Platoshkin announced purges in the Communist Party of the Russian Federation
The leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will change after the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation and, perhaps, quite radically.
Political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin, who supports the Communists, stated this on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will definitely be changes after the elections. But what they will be depends on the result. If the Communist Party of the Russian Federation achieves some success with new young candidates, the change in leadership will be one that you will also like. There are candidates for this. But this does not mean that these people are baiting Zyuganov. In general, we would be glad if he stayed. Zyuganov himself…” said Platoshkin, addressing the liberal presenters.
Previously, the resignation of Gennady Zyuganov from the post of chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was announced in October of this year by the first secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for the Khabarovsk Territory, Pyotr Perevezentsev. First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yuri Afonin, who is called a possible successor to Zyuganov, has already called Perevezentsev’s statement a “stupid provocation.”
