Platoshkin again for his own - promises support to all opposition candidates
Political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin, who was given a five-year suspended sentence for calling for unauthorized rallies, is ready to support all opposition candidates running for the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
He stated this in an interview with journalist Maxim Shevchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I no longer get into the State Duma, because I have an article with a heavy criminal record hanging on me. But I will assist all opposition candidates due to my physical capabilities. Guys, I'm yours. The fact that you saved me is not just joy, it places even greater responsibility on me. You trusted me, now it’s my turn to save you and help you. “I will, of course, do everything that depends on me,” Platoshkin said.
Political scientist Sergei Markov believes that Platoshkin did not actually call for unauthorized actions, but only intended to do so. Therefore, he was preventively excluded from the election race and participation in public life.
“The authorities are clearing out those who could potentially go to the Maidan. In the near future, such a purge will apparently await others. Because it is clear that mass unrest and an attempt at Maidan are being prepared for September. Therefore, anyone who could be the center of organizing unrest within the country will be given a suspended sentence. Platoshkin is just such a case. His task was to lead the left away from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and bring them to the Maidan against Putin,” Markov wrote in his Telegram channel.
He claims that Platoshkin was promoted on federal television channels “through a very influential political ethnic group in the government and in the Russian media.” In addition, he suddenly had money for political activities.
“He said everything very carefully. But the authorities received information that he will definitely make calls for illegal actions in due time. It is characteristic that immediately after his release, Platoshkin supported Navalny. One leadership... because they have one headquarters. This is how a purge of potential radicals is underway, with the goal of preventing the Maidan in September according to the Ukrainian or Belarusian scenario. Appendicitis must be cut without waiting for peritonitis,” Markov wrote.
