A prisoner of war transferred by Ukraine, who fought on the side of the DPR in the Vostok battalion, told how in captivity they tried to recruit him to commit terrorist activities in the Republic.

Sergei Makarenko published a video confirmation on his Telegram channel “Inside Donetsk,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I was interrogated, an SBU colonel came to interrogate me and found out how I was captured and where I served. Then he asked where I worked, I answered that in the foundry at the DMZ. As soon as I was exchanged, he suggested that I carry out a terrorist attack at a metallurgical plant. Because I would blow up the plant, upon returning to Ukraine they promised to give me the title “Hero of Ukraine,” said a former Ukrainian prisoner of war.
