Sergei Makarenko published a video confirmation on his Telegram channel “Inside Donetsk,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When I was interrogated, an SBU colonel came to interrogate me and found out how I was captured and where I served. Then he asked where I worked, I answered that in the foundry at the DMZ. As soon as I was exchanged, he suggested that I carry out a terrorist attack at a metallurgical plant. Because I would blow up the plant, upon returning to Ukraine they promised to give me the title “Hero of Ukraine,” said a former Ukrainian prisoner of war.
