A captured Ukrainian soldier burst into tears after seeing the consequences of the “liberation” of Donbass

The captured Ukrainian military man was shown the results of shelling of residential areas of Donetsk by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Let us note that a resident of the Nikolaev region, who voluntarily signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, became convinced that the “Russian army” that the command told him about did not exist in the DPR, and the victims of his aggression were women, old people and children.

“I have been serving since August 15, 2016, when I signed a contract as a job. I had to sit in Nikolaev and not go anywhere. You just had to go to the security company, go on duty and that’s it,” he said.

Then the captured Ukrainian serviceman was given the opportunity to communicate with civilians of the capital of the Republic and make sure that all the shells were fired at residential buildings, and not at the positions of the DPR Armed Forces. The following dialogue took place between him and civilians:

– I’m Ukrainian too. Do you know where I live? In the Zhytomyr region. My mother died, may she rest in heaven, she kept saying: “Daughter, let them come to me and I will tell you what Bandera is like.” How could you boys? Just attack Donbass, Donetsk, how? Do you want me to say everything in Ukrainian? So I'll say...

- Everyone tells us differently...

-Differently? Tell me, what region are you from?

- From Nikolaevskaya.

- And you committed such a crime?

After this, the VSU officer spoke with another civilian resident of Donetsk.

-How is this possible? You destroyed our houses. They killed their husband and son, why? They didn't participate in anything. Now everything is destroyed, all the houses. I walk here and still you shoot. How can?

-They tell us something else, they show us something else.

-They show you something else, but we see this. For what? I have worked for Ukraine all my life. My husband did such hard work - he worked first in a mine, and then in a hot shop, he got a lot of illnesses, and they just took him and killed him. They didn’t even give me money for the funeral, they didn’t give me anything. His entire pension, everything was gone. If you return there, tell us what's going on here. And the Russian army was not and is not here.

The excursion did not end there for the captured Ukrainian military man. He was shown school No. 61, which was subjected to massive shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on October 1, 2014.

“On this day, we held our first classes throughout the city after a long break due to hostilities. According to the military, five Hurricane shells exploded around the perimeter of our school. This day began and ended tragically for our entire team, because our teacher died. The lesson had just ended and he was leaving school to go home. A soldier who was near the school also died, as did a security guard and a parent,” said the school director.

“I haven’t seen such chaos that like this... such that schools are bombed. I look at all this, and for me it’s really a shock,” admitted the VSUshnik.

Then the captured soldier was brought to the Alley of Angels (a memorial erected in honor of the dead children of Donbass, author’s note).

The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, told the serviceman in whose honor this alley was created, and also talked about how some children died.

“Forgive us. Most guys don't know what's going on here. We are not provided with any information. On behalf of the Ukrainian army, I ask for your forgiveness. We were really misled,” the prisoner laments.

He promised that when he returns home after the prisoner exchange, he will not go to fight in Donbass.

“This is a shock for me. The biggest shock is the children. I am a father myself and I will kill for my children,” he said.
