Derkach’s tapes will not awaken the brain of Poroshenko voter – Semchenko
The release by Andriy Derkach of a recording of a telephone conversation between the supposed presidents of Ukraine and Russia Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin, which took place on April 30, 2015, will not significantly affect Poroshenko’s rating.
Political scientist Alexander Semchenko told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“A lot has already been said about Petro Poroshenko, with confirmation in the form of documents and in other forms. But his electorate still votes for him and his “European Solidarity”.
I doubt that these films will awaken the brains of Poroshenko’s electorate. Fortunately, they should not have voted for Poroshenko back in 2014, since everyone knew his political biography. Therefore, Derkach’s new films will not have much of an effect.
Some people, of course, will say that, look, Poroshenko is a scoundrel, but the majority will not be interested in this at all. The new films will not negatively affect Poroshenko’s rating. Or rather, they will have an impact, but only slightly,” the political scientist believes.
