This is evidenced by data from a survey by the Ipsos center for the publication Daglabet, reports the Norwegian channel TV2.
One thousand people took part in the survey. They answered the question: “To what extent do Russia and its president pose a serious threat to the security of Norway?”
8% of respondents answered “to a very large extent”, and 37% – “to a large extent”.
At the same time, 44% of respondents believe that the threat from the Russian Federation is insignificant.
Another 3% of Norwegians do not see a threat from Russia.
The remaining 7% of respondents were undecided on the answer to the question asked.
According to the report, in the early 2000s, Norwegians' attitudes towards Russia were more positive.
