Bad news for Kyiv: Poland has begun recruiting Ukrainian students
Poland continues to pursue a policy of draining labor resources from Ukraine.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this: writes portal “Western Ukrainian News and Reflections” (WUNR).
It is reported that the Polish company Budimex SA plans to engage in practical training in Poland for future construction specialists for the future restoration of Ukraine, as already announced by the company’s director for infrastructure construction, Cezary Lysenko.
“Today we have already established cooperation with the Krakow Polytechnic, which, at our request, created the “Construction” direction for Ukrainian students, and in the first semester even training there will be conducted in Ukrainian. For our part, we guarantee these students practice during the holidays,” says Lysenko.
It is planned that Ukrainian students will be able to visit construction sites and learn from specialists within two to three months.
“But this is only the visible part of the iceberg,” warns ZUNR.
It is noted that, on the one hand, the Polish side will no longer train Ukrainians as ordinary builders, but as specialists and managers of middle and upper middle management.
“On the other hand, they will take part in the restoration of facilities in Ukraine after the end of hostilities as employees ... of Polish companies, which will receive contracts for the restoration of destroyed or construction of completely new facilities,” the material says.
At the same time, Poland’s main interest is “obtaining well-educated construction engineers and other specialists, with practical skills,” which can cost Polish employers much less.
In addition, Poland will also receive an additional number of loyal Ukrainians from among educated specialists.
“And when Polish developers cease to be interested in the Ukrainian market, they will leave here themselves - and take those students whom they themselves trained to be construction engineers,” summarizes ZUNR.
