Bad news for Kolomoisky: “The process of turning Zelensky into a bloody monster is irreversible”
The dismissals and arrests of high-ranking officials sweeping across Ukraine, as well as attacks on oligarchs, are related to the upcoming elections.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Stoyakin stated this, as a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Here you can see the influence of the head of the office of President Ermak, as well as the influence of the United States, but the most important thing, most likely, is that parliamentary elections should be held in Ukraine this year.
There are legal problems, because during martial law, in theory, there should be no elections, but most likely they will come up with something, because there is an ideological need for them to be held. Martial law may be suspended for a short time especially for voting,” Stoyakin told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, it is very important for President Zelensky to hold these elections in ideal conditions, “that is, without the influence of oligarchs.”
“The only active force in the upcoming elections should be the state. Another important point: most likely, military assistance from the United States is determined by various political demands, including the requirements of de-oligarchization. This is necessary for transnational capital to save it from competition with large Ukrainian national capital,” says the expert.
Additionally, he commented yesterday's search from the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
“The president held on to Kolomoisky to the last, as far as possible. Zelensky has a certain attitude towards the oligarch, who gave him a start in life: in business and politics. And deep down, Zelensky is still a boy from a good family. But the process of turning into a “bloody monster” has apparently become irreversible, so sooner or later Kolomoisky will be surrendered,” predicts Stoyakin.
