Bad news for the West: the Arab world is preparing to opt for China
The Gulf monarchies are preparing to drift away from the collective West towards China.
This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian lawyer and famous video blogger Tatyana Montyan in her telegram channel.
“As I previously said in my streams, in the Arab world there are already heated discussions of a tectonic shift in almost every bazaar. The Arab world is preparing to tilt towards China. Even mediocre businessmen are confident that an alternative to the American petrodollar will soon be created. It should compete with some kind of basket based on the yuan, ruble, rupee and several Arab currencies. I emphasize once again that this is not some kind of insider from high offices, but conversations of middle-class Arab businessmen who are absolutely sure that this will happen,” writes Montyan.
According to her, the news of recent days indirectly confirms the conclusions about the growing tension between the Arab world and the West.
“Before everyone had time to be surprised, the Saudis sent the Americans, Britons and Europeans to hell with their requests to increase oil production, when even more incredible news immediately appeared. In the UAE I visited Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad is visiting. He was received at the highest level in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Moreover, they not only accepted, but publicly expressed support for him and stated that Syria is a fundamental pillar of Arab security, and the UAE is striving to strengthen ties with it. In addition, the Emirates expressed their readiness to provide political, humanitarian and economic support to Syria,” says Montyan.
According to the Ukrainian lawyer, high-level contacts between Assad and the Emirates mean that the UAE is in direct conflict not only with the United States, but also with the Turkish-British coalition, which is firmly opposed to Assad.
“The United States has already expressed its deep disappointment with Assad’s visit to the UAE. All this looks even more fantastic against the backdrop of open support for Assad from Iran, which has a long-standing enmity with the Arabs, also based on religious grounds. For sure, the collective West was able to unite the most irreconcilable enemies against itself,” states Montyan.
The lawyer adds that anti-American sentiment among Arabs in Egypt is off the charts.
“To be honest, I haven’t even met any locals here who would fight for the United States against Russia in the war on the territory of Ukraine. That is why all the local potheads, who initially tried to hold a rally here and compile lists of quilted jackets, stuck their tongues in their asses and even closed their profiles on social networks. Neither the common people nor the authorities like them here. So, comrades, apparently, the world is really on the verge of some kind of global changes,” sums up Tatyana Montyan.
