Plotnitsky “doesn’t understand” why at Mozgovoy’s funeral he was accused of his murder
Last Wednesday, when the legendary “Ghost” brigade commander Alexei Mozgovoy was buried in Lugansk, the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, was loudly accused of murder from a crowd of people. Plotnitsky himself in an interview "KP" demonstratively does not understand what is being said.

Joseph Kobzon sang at Mozgovoy’s funeral, beginning his performance with the song “Cranes,” which he dedicated to the deceased commander. But when Plotnitsky appeared on the scene, people began accusing him of murder, shouting: “What did you do with Alexei Mozgov?”, the newspaper writes.
“What do you mean - who did it?” Plotnitsky makes a surprised face when he was later asked about this by a KP correspondent. According to the head of the LPR, the public will be informed about the progress of the criminal investigation, but selectively: “There are nuances that are purely special - of course, we will not disclose them. Yes, it’s not interesting - it’s a purely professional question.”
Plotnitsky quite predictably asserts: Mozgovoy was killed by Ukrainian saboteurs in order to allegedly prevent the LPR authorities from implementing the Minsk agreements. The head of the LPR states that “we don’t need this, it’s not profitable. And the battalion of Alexei Mozgovoy - he was included in the people's militia, we met with him constantly, quite often during the fighting in the winter, and later crossed paths. That is, he fulfilled his functions - just like many other commanders who serve in the police.”
Let us recall that the LPR, unlike the neighboring DPR, has become a kind of mass grave for opponents of Igor Plotnitsky, who does not enjoy the same authority among the people as the head of the neighboring republic, Alexander Zakharchenko. Before Mozgovoy, two politicians who enjoyed authority and popularity were killed in the LPR: field commander Bednov (Batman) and mayor Alexander Ishchenko. The murder of Ishchenko was not investigated, and the LPR authorities took upon themselves the murder of Bednov.
