“As far as I know, there are delays in pension payments. But in the near future, today or tomorrow, we will resolve the issue, and there will be pensions. That is, there will be no delay, but normal payments. There is money in the accounts,” Plotnitsky assured.
Previously, the head of the LPR stated that the Republic has funds to pay pensions; delays in payments occurred for technical reasons, since “with the beginning of the heating season, a number of unforeseen problems arose that required additional expenses.”
In turn, LPR Finance Minister Yevgeny Manuilov noted that pensions for October may be paid with a delay of up to a week.
As of the morning of October 22, the Pension Fund's need to pay pensions in October was funded by 48,9%. Of the nearly 421 thousand pensioners of the Republic, 199,8 thousand veterans received pensions for a total amount of 825,7 million rubles.
