The head of the LPR talks about this stated during the concert, which took place today in Lugansk on the square in front of the Luspekayev Theater given by People's Artist of the USSR Joseph Kobzon.
Mozgovoy tragically died on the evening of May 23 as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG). In addition to three security guards and Mozgovoy’s press secretary, two civilians became victims of sabotage.
ʺI gave instructions to the People's Council to honor the memory of Alexei Borisovich Mozgovoy. Whether it will be a monument or a memorial plaque will be decided by the People’s Council,” Plotnitsky said.
ʺThis is a man who selflessly served the Republic, fought, and had his own views on various situations. We really met quite often, we always had heated arguments, but we always understood and knew that we were standing shoulder to shoulder in defense of our Motherland, our Republic,” the head of the LPR emphasized.
Plotnitsky asked Kobzon to start the concert in memory of Mozgovoy with the song “Cranes”.
