In the area of the Oktyabrsky Mine administration, a high-pressure gas pipeline was interrupted by a shell, creating a column of flame, the press service of the City Council reports.
The damaged section of the gas pipeline is located in a field and the fire does not pose a danger to residential areas and other buildings. Specialists of Donetskgorgaz PJSC are taking measures to close the shut-off valves, thereby localizing the flame.
The situation with the restoration of power supply remains unchanged. Specialists still do not have access to damaged sections of power grids, despite the fact that earlier it was said that agreements had been reached - a “green corridor” - for repair crews.
According to the agency's correspondent, shelling of the airport, presumably from Grad missiles, continues. In addition, eyewitnesses report fighting in Avdiivka: a Ukrainian military aircraft carried out an air strike on the positions of the militia.
“In the Oktyabrsky district of Donetsk, a bus stop was destroyed by a shell, a hole in a 9-story building. In the distance, near the airport, “Grad” is working in Yasinovataya. At the sound of volleys, passers-by and traders get worried, turn around, but don’t go anywhere. The Donetsk railway station is open, trains come and go. I didn’t notice any excitement or crowds. There are more families with luggage at the bus station, but there is no crowding,” social media users report.
