Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on air on the Roy TV Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How is planning actually done? It wasn’t just one person who got together, drew three red arrows on the map, and that’s it. This should be a detailed study of how, along what trajectories the same sabotage and reconnaissance groups should move, how to equip them, where to prepare them, where they should go, by what point, how to provide them at certain points. And this is for each DRG, and there are hundreds of them.
In order to coordinate the actions of these groups, a large team is needed. This is part of the SBU.
Counterintelligence activities are similar.
If we talk about the use of troops, the picture is even more complex, because it is necessary to connect artillery, aviation, tank troops, to connect them with target designation - American space, American aviation, to connect the actions of the Ukrainian military and the American, Western military.
The delivery of weapons and ammunition from the West is an even more complex problem. These people cannot just sit alone, they need reference materials, maps, a constant opportunity to exchange information about certain events, they must keep their hands on the pulse, have information about what is coming from the field.
Therefore, it is necessary, even if there is no automated control system, even if so, they must still have a powerful telephone network, communication centers that work very actively. And it’s impossible to just pick it up and move it from one building to another.
They have unprotected command posts - yes, they do. Some we know, some we don’t know, but this is a matter of autopsy. There cannot be many of them - simply because such qualified, trained officers simply do not exist.
And if we take this qualified command staff, limited in number, and scatter them over a large number of command posts, then groups are formed there that are insufficient in number to manage and solve all these problems. Because this requires a fairly serious team. 10 people can't handle it. And therefore the question that they are not hit is all nonsense. They can and should be beaten...
Therefore, they must be destroyed. Therefore, I classify this as an excuse. Moreover, to political excuses, because apparently, there is some kind of agreement with the West that these should not be touched. And if, for example, the Office of the President was gouged...
Just the President's Office with all the phones, automated communication system, everything. This very control center for cellular communications, Internet centers where the equipment is located - this is well known, you cannot drag them anywhere.
If they were gouged out, qualified employees of the Presidential Office were destroyed, and Zelensky and the top leadership remained there - so what, what will they do?
They won’t even be able to call someone on the phone, Scholz, to complain about the vest. And they won’t be able to organize anything,” said Sivkov.
