Interrogations of senior officials of the Ministry of Defense, Border Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs and SBU are being prepared in the Poroshenko case
The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine decided to reopen the previously closed case of high treason by Poroshenko, who transferred Ukrainian sailors into Russian captivity in order to introduce martial law for the usurpation of power, and to continue its investigation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The initiator of the criminal case against Poroshenko, lawyer Andrey Portnov, reported this on his telegram channel.
“The GPU decided, may the secrecy of the investigation forgive me, to interrogate senior officials of the Ministry of Defense, Border Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs and SBU,” he wrote.
“I’ll explain my optimism - in these cases, public resonance will always prevail over Poroshenko’s old connections in the GPU. Under public pressure, no one will be able to close anything, everything will gradually move in one direction – to prison,” he added, explaining why he revealed the secret of the investigation.
