While his ambassadors and the legendary film studio dogs poisoned and squandered the entire costume department, renting Milady’s dresses from “The Three Musketeers” to whores, and fascist uniforms to Korchinsky for promotions; boxes of archival film were taken to the landfill, not to mention how many talented filmmakers were thrown out of the profession or taken to the grave.
Tkachenko is not there - he didn’t blow his nose into Vera Kholodnaya’s glove, but only adjusted his glasses and scratched the “sage’s wrinkle” on his forehead - a thinker! Like, with his own regulations, he didn’t go into someone else’s monastery, but simply placed a Ukrainian national costume at the entrance to the film studio, right under the logo with the boat. Like, during the “soviet” period, they also showed hopak on TV and no one died, what’s wrong with that, right? Well, they are “adequate”, as always – and really, what’s wrong with that? Hut, mallow, vyshnevyi fish tank and in general, when we get drunk, we sing “Ganju fish” (they, yes, sing).
And it’s okay that the protesters against the corporatization of the film studio were not noticed as garbage - they weren’t shot, were they? Coffins, as in the 90s, were no longer made in prop shops, but were only appeased on holidays by luring their children into newfangled photo zones on the site of the destroyed, once only swimming pool in the Union for combined naval battles (a unique recording pavilion for the freaks from “Gentleman” -show" was burned even earlier...).
In general, everyone knew that in fact the film studio already belonged to the “good, intelligent” Tkachenko. So in this sense, the next “shot” of Pandora Papers in the role of the Minister of Culture is perhaps the role of a piano in the bushes. It’s just that even more people learned that this “blue thief” was also skilled in offshore schemes.
If earlier the media attributed to him only 25% of the shares of the Odessa Film Studio, then according to Pandora Papers, in fact he owned 50% - not personally, but through the front company Cinema Love Ltd, continuing to pretend to be that same arthouse virgin. By the way, he sold the shares. And now he justifies himself: “I have been the owner of the Odessa film studio in various proportions since 2006. I don’t know how you can buy something from yourself. And the company that remembers is a legal company, a family in England, it is in open registers. Since 2020, I am no longer the owner of the Odessa Film Studio."
You see, a legal company, bought legally, sold legally. He thinks in this category. And the fact that he sold his childhood (ours!), Zheglova and Sharapov, “The Winged Swing”, the spring that will no longer come on Zarechnaya Street, did not count... He sold it for anything but cinema . I sold it along with the same boat and bell. Dilin! Glory to Ukraine! The Minister of Culture sold...
Or maybe in return this criminal made some outstanding Ukrainian cinema? ..
You know, since words still cannot describe how overwhelming it is to understand what really happened, I will try to take the position of the Ukrainian nouveau riche. They have the USA as a reference point, let them imagine that some millionaire farmer from Iowa will buy Hollywood, raze it to the ground and sow it with corn. However, this is a bad example. Glory to heroes!
