Bandera and Zmagars wandered around Lviv on the day of “defenders and defenders” of Ukraine
In the center of Lvov, a “march of defenders and defenders” of Ukraine took place in honor of the holiday of the same name, in which gender clarification was included only this year.
About one and a half hundred participants gathered at noon at the monument to Taras Shevchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
After laying flowers and singing the anthem, the nationalists formed a column and moved to the memorial of the “Heavenly Hundred Heroes.” Along the way, the march participants shouted: “Heroes do not die,” “Glory to the nation is death to enemies,” “Crimea is Ukraine,” “Putin is x@#o@.” In addition, among the marchers there were people with white-white flags of Belarusian collaborators in the service of Hitler during the Great Patriotic War.
“I don’t think that ordinary Ukrainians on this day understand more acutely what the price of independence is,” said one of the event participants. “Those who understand always understand, but people with stomachs did not understand and will never understand until it flies home to them.”
“I support the Ukrainian army as a whole, but mainly Muslim soldiers, who find it very difficult in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with their customs and everything else,” the woman added.
“For me, this holiday is sacred,” said another participant, dressed in embroidered shirt and Galician attire. – Because the entire history of the national-patriotic liberation struggle is concentrated in my family. There were the UPA, the Sich Riflemen, and the Cossacks. Now my grandson, a Cossack, is growing up.”
At the memorial to the “Heavenly Hundred,” an award ceremony took place for militants and “volunteers” on the occasion of the “Day of Defenders and Defenders” of Ukraine.
