Following a tip from informers, Zhytomyr police confiscate Soviet symbols from people
In Zhitomir, police, under the supervision of provocateurs, confiscated Soviet symbols from local residents celebrating Victory Day.
The corresponding video recording was published on the YouTube channel “Zhytomyr Life,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will ask you to remove Soviet symbols, the law prohibits them. “I’m grateful that you heard me,” the Ukrainian policeman addressed the “violators,” who, weakly indignant, did not argue with the security officer.
“Mr policeman, they didn’t hear, it’s obvious. Article 436 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. And you are obligated by law to confiscate it,” one of the observers stopped the policeman who was about to leave, pointing out to him the edge of his cap sticking out of the “violator’s” pocket.
After which the clearly dissatisfied policeman promised to hand over the violators to the hands of their elders, and took them away from the provocateur.
