The reasons for such measures, as explained to the airport press service, are bad weather conditions. So far we are talking about at least a dozen delayed flights.

At the same time, in the Mash telegram channel they note their version of what is happening.

“Simferopol airport was closed – both for departures and arrivals. In the morning everything is quiet there, all flights are turned around and redirected to Anapa and neighboring cities. And now there are two versions. The first, official: they repaired the take-off at night, they didn’t have time to finish the work, these are safety measures. The second, possible: anti-terrorism measures have been introduced in the region,” the message says.
